Built from the Inside Out

Annabel Singh’s career spans politics, financial and professional services, communications, and the built environment — the three pillars that now underpin The Inward Group.

Having worked across both UK and European political environments early in her career, Annabel developed a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement, public affairs, and relationship-led environments. She later moved into financial and professional services communications at the City of London Corporation, working closely with the Chairman and Lord Mayor across the UK, Europe, and Asia.

Alongside this, Annabel built hands-on commercial real estate experience, working as an estate agent and Sales Manager at Dexters in Fulham, later advising a high-net-worth individual in Brussels on investment property acquisitions. Coming from a family with a development background, property and investment have always been central to her commercial understanding.

Annabel later moved into Planning and Development at the City of London Corporation, specialising in inward investment and occupier engagement, where she played a central role in establishing the City Business and Investment Unit — a concierge-style initiative supporting international businesses looking to establish and grow in London.

Through years of working with investors, corporates, developers, and institutions, one challenge became clear: London is one of the world’s most attractive markets, but also one of its most relationship-driven and difficult to navigate from the outside.

The Inward Group was created to bridge that gap — combining political understanding, strategic communications, financial and professional services insight, and built environment expertise to help international clients access London with greater speed, connectivity, and confidence.

Access over theory. Execution over commentary. Trust above all.
